Last night my dad and I went to the Daniel Beck, Jessie Clark Funk, and Heartbound concert at Pioneer Days. It was SO good! We were not as impressed with Heartbound, but they were alright. I have LOVED Jessie Clark Funk for several years and I was way excited to see her live again. I had never heard of Daniel Beck but ended up LOVING him. They both did amazing!! And I think he is WAY cute too!! :)
When my dad and I got there, there were tons of cars parking by the Union Station. SO... that's where we parked figuring there was no more parking. Yeah, not a good idea. As we walked....and walked, we saw many open parking spaces. :-/ we got good exercise though!
After the concert we had to walk BACK to the car... hmmm... scary!! It was dark and we were on Wall Ave by ourselves.......... but to make this situation funnier, my dad used to have this repeated nightmare when he was 5 about him walking down Wall Ave, in the dark, past those big, old buildings, alone. ha ha he was FREAKING OUT. But instead of going with my idea of crossing the street, he wanted to conquer his fear. And instead of him looking the other way, he was LOOKING INTO THE WINDOWS! Not a good idea. He saw some pretty weird/creepy things.
It was way fun though! THANKS DAD!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!! :)
