Virtue

Last Sunday, we as young women got the exciting news that we are gaining another value in young womens. The value is virtue. I am soo excited! It shocked my whole Young Womens. My leaders weren't even expecting it. As soon as a member from our stake Young Womens announced the news the spirit got even stronger than before. It was so neat! I am so thankful that I am in Young Womens to experience this!
Since I am soo excited for this I figured I would share a little about what virtue means.

Elder James E. Faust once said:
-"Many people do not fully understand the meaning of virtue. Virtue is our safeguard and our guiding star that stirs up reason when our senses err.” -

-"The time has come for the young women of the Church to lead the world in a return to virtue. This is the time to be pure and to qualify for the guidance of the Holy Ghost. In the coming year, it is our desire that all young women and their leaders focus on the meaning of virtue, what young women can do to accept and act upon this value, and how this attribute can strengthen young women as they prepare to be worthy to make and keep sacred covenants and receive temple ordinances."-

"I believe one virtuous young woman led by the Spirit can change the world."

These were said by Sister Dalton.


It is time for the Young Women to "Return to Virtue" and I'm willing to do my best!

They gave virtue the color of GOLD because it takes a long time for it to become pure, just like us! I think it totally fits. (I decided to do the writing in gold so it fit... =D )
