So I just got back from my Student Government meeting about my retreat to St. George. It was really good but kinda long. At first we talked about the parades and floats for the 4th. That took about 45 minutes. Then we started talking about the retreat. We talked about that for almost and hour. We got everything covered. Then the advisors had a last minute meeting with the district. It turns out that we are not allowed to go to St. George. We were all TICKED!!!! I was soo mad. The district won't let us travel that far. And other politics. So now we aren't doing anything for retreat until Aug. and we might not even do anything. What a bummer! I got my hope up for nothing.
But I did get my officer jacket!! YAY!
